My uncle was recently ordained a priest (yes, my mum’s happy cause her two sons probably aren’t gonna take that path), and I recently exercised some forgiveness of my own by giving the Helix bridge a second chance.

The shots from the ordination aren’t grand, I learnt the limitations of using a prime when you can’t move (they had official photographers, hence I had to be content using my camera as an idiot proof camera which couldn’t zoom), and in unfavourable lighting. Still, managed to catch some that I’m content with. And on my second trip to the Marina Bay area in the evening, I decided to swap back to my kit lens and arm myself with my tripod. Suffice to say, I was happy with the results.


I am especially happy with this shot, though it was the only one I took from this angle. Should’ve taken more! I do very little colour correction to my photos (partially because I’m lazy), so I do appreciate have pretty colours without having much to do. 😀 Decided not to crop out the people because I felt they add to the piece.
